Unfortunately even if you have backups, the major cost in disaster recovery is downtime. WIT offers remote monitoring to ensure that backups ran effectively and, as part of your Service Level Agreement, we can also store secure offsite backups at our offices further increasing peace of mind.

By conducting offsite backups on a regular basis, downtime can be drastically reduced – a benefit one of our Cape Town clients recently experienced during the power cuts. The process of recovery and reconfiguration that should have taken up to 72 hours was reduced to a downtime of only 4 hours thanks to WIT’s offsite backups.
