Blackberry Enterprise Server Express

What are the benefits of Blackberry Enterprise Server Express (BES Express)?

  • Calendars and "to do" lists will synchronise in real-time.
  • Entire mailboxes will sync with the server. If you read or delete a message on your phone, it will delete everywhere automatically.
  • Unlike using the personal Blackberry service, there will be no need to re-enter your details. If you already have Microsoft Exchange Server without BES Express and your company's mail server restarts, you currently have to re-enter your details.
  • Easier to add more phones
  • You will have full control
  • You can add the same mail signatures and even switch Wireless and Bluetooth functionality off remotely

We recommend that you install Blackberry Enterprise Server Express in your organisation no matter the amount of users. Users at companies using Microsoft Exchange Servers without BES Express will only be able to get a copy of messages going to their inboxes whereas with BES Express your calendar, to do list and all you e-mail will sync in real-time.

How much does it cost?

The software is free and will take between 4 and 8 hours to install, depending on the hardware and software configuration in your server.

Key features

  • Low cost
  • No new hardware needed for up to 75 users
  • Takes only seconds to add a new user
  • High security
  • Wireless software updates
  • Control what applications users can and cannot use
  • Easy to manage
